A Book A Day...

One of my favorite things as a new #HauteMom is to read to Gibson.  The way he examines each illustration, enthusiastically turns the page and genuinely listens as a story is read to him is actually quite profound.  As Gibs is about to turn 1 his interest in books evolves daily.  He's truly obsessed with anything interactive.  A few faves and Haute Mommy recommendations:  Anne Wilkinson/Jellycat www.nordstrom.com  Dr. Suess (a personal fave bc you realize how tripped out he must have been while writing - my kinda guy) and a new fave, The Horndribbles, a series of books and cute little stuffed animals that go alongside. http://horndribbles.com 

The Horndribbles are friendly, fun-loving monsters who live on Horndribble Island, a wild land full of endless opportunity and exploring.  Gibson's obsessed!  While I read to him, he'll play with his little stuffed Horndribble which adds another layer of fun and learning.  Anywhoo...it won't be long before Horndirbbles becomes a household name, so haute moms, I wanted to let you in on the secret first x ENJOY!
