You may know we had two premature babies and needed all the support we could get in those early days. No joke, I had such intense postpartum depression and anxiety that I’d actually dream about getting into an accident that would leave me in the hospital just to get a break from it all. It was an isolating, terrifying time as both kiddos had a rough start. So did Mama. @marchofdimes was an incredible resource for us as a family and continues to be for others in similar situations. This year, we’re so honored to be the Ambassador Family and plan to continue our involvement with the organization as long as they’ll have us. :) Clearly, we’re in the middle of a deeply chaotic time where the American medical system is being tested as never before. So this is a reminder that we need not forget about the moms and babies. They still need access to critical care and resources required for a healthy start.
